Wise said there have been new leases at its parking garages, including from UCSF (Japantown + Fifth and Mission garages) and the San Francisco Police Department at St. Mary's garage.

The SFMTA has been working to "right-size" parking meter hours around loading zones.

Wise spoke about the school crossing guard program shortage, moving cross guards to cover more locations due to staggered school start times, using light duty SFMTA employees to cover crosswalks.

Additionally, working with HR to expedite the hiring process.

The SFMTA completed the West Portal horseshoe upgrades. But, a social media account on threads, named agentakit, films every weekend on some drivers not obeying the traffic laws that were implemented about a year ago.

The board is on the mid-life overhaul of Muni buses. It's a second phase of the program. The buses on the right replaced the buses on the left.

Also, the bus on the left you can now see during Muni Heritage Weekend, which took place two weekends ago.

And finally, the SFMTA was a finalist in the Bloomberg Mayor's Challenge this year and received $50K to test out its idea related to Muni customer service. It was an international contest.

The SFMTA completed a draft report of the Muni Metro Capacity study. It looks at how to expand capacity in the subway over the next 10 to 15 years.
