The SFMTA completed the West Portal horseshoe upgrades. But, a social media account on threads, named agentakit, films every weekend on some drivers not obeying the traffic laws that were implemented about a year ago.

The board is on the mid-life overhaul of Muni buses. It's a second phase of the program. The buses on the right replaced the buses on the left.

Also, the bus on the left you can now see during Muni Heritage Weekend, which took place two weekends ago.

Bay Area transit news: SB 63, a bill to authorize a regional funding measure to fund transit in the Bay Area, passed the state legislature and is headed to Gov. Newsom's desk for his signature. Newsom has until Oct. 12 to either sign or veto the bill.

Starting today, the ride-hailing apps were allowed to pick-up and drop-off passengers at specific locations on Market Street and can only operate during certain hours.

Earlier this evening at Market and Montgomery streets, transit, pedestrian and bike advocates denounced Mayor Daniel Lurie's decision to allow Waymo, Uber Black and Lyft Black to drive on parts of Market Street that had been "car-free" since 2020.

Yes, Waymos and a limited number of black vehicles from Uber and Lyft will be able to drive down parts of Market Street to pick up and drop off passengers at the following locations starting next Tuesday. Each company is subject to limited operating hours, per the Mayor's Office.
