This is likely better re. reducing no. coming to UK on student visas to work. Flat rate hits so-called "visa farm" HE providers offering cheaper courses, w. less impact on elite, high-fee institutions. 🧵

Fun times at Heathrow earlier. All the bags for connecting passengers on our flight from Glasgow were put on the reclaim belt and someone ran around checking the tags for LAS, LAX, CDG etc and taking them away on a trolley.

Very well researched piece by UCL - Wind power has cut £104bn from UK energy costs since 2010.

The only answers to better energy security and overall lower energy costs are more wind power and renewables - implemented in a way that allows for a just transition.
