Just another incredible Javy tag. Most other shortstops go get the ball and have to swipe. Javy just lets the ball travel all the way to Victor’s foot.

"The extra b is for BYOBB"
what's the stupidest/randomest Simpsons quote that lives in your head rent free? Mine is the urge to say "you said go to bread" every time I am about to head to bed.

If I'm an NFL coach, I don't tell Tom Brady anything during production meetings if he's going to be sitting in a coach booth during Raiders games. #NFL

All you people who claim fall is your favorite season because of the weather. No it's not. This is what you like. You like late summer.

Even when watching Jeopardy! alone, I have to say my response aloud for it to count.

One of my greatest joys is walking past the regular security line and watching people put their shoes back on. Alas, it's been taken from me.

Who knew that Angel Hernandez resigning would cause such a huge variance?
I think we can all agree a pitch here (Zone 24) is a ball.

In 2008, taken pitches in this zone were called strikes 1 out of every 4 pitches.

This year, it's called a strike 1 out of every 1,000 times.

Umpiring has gotten a lot better.

Hey guys, I found some of that government inefficiency. An ad recruiting someone to become a border patrol agent who isn't even eligible because of his age.

Just saw a guy cruising through O'Hare on rollerblades. Genius is on the edge of crazy.

I just saw an elementary aged kid outside her house playing the recorder. I can only imagine her parents made her go outside to practice.

We really need better 'I voted' stickers in Kendall County.

We can put a man on the moon (maybe...Elon seems to be in charge of that now), but we can't have a text message spam filter catch the words "unpaid tolls"?

This is the most Chicago-coded thing you can say without saying the city's name or listing sports team.

The Illinois Department of Transportation sends a suspiciously high number of emojis in their "you have unpaid tolls" text messages. Welp, off to click that link and pay my bill.

Couldn't help but think of @pointlessexercise.com and giggle as I did the Walkoff this morning. Could've lowered the qualifier for that category to 5'3" and it would've still worked.

I'm enjoying @bsky.app so far, but I am looking for one fix. When I open the other app, I pick up from where I left off. On this one, it always defaults to the most recent posts and I have to scroll backwards to see what I missed. I like the former so I can stay chronological.
