"We need better democrats" - @jeremymatlow.bsky.social (at an FSU Dems event) speaking on the failures of Tallahassee Democratic leadership.

Matlow is they type of progressive leadership Tallahassee needs, he's not just another Democrat.

The first fundraising numbers are in! We raised $74k from over 400 contributions with a median of $50.

The groundswell of support our campaign received from everyday people is heartwarming

In the past 8 years, Tallahassee has grown stagnant, but in 2026 we have an opportunity for positive growth

Today I stand with the working people of our city, on Labor Day, to remember the hard fought battles that won us an 8 hour work week, the minimum wage, created the social safety net and dismantled child labor mills.

It’s gameday. That means you’ll find me working in the kitchen down on Gaines Street.

Stop by during or after the game and say hi, i’ll have a few buttons and petitions with me.

Go Noles!

Any FSU-TMH partnership should:

✅ retain 2/3 board appointments by the City Commission

✅ Prioritize growing and improving local healthcare

✅ Vetted thoroughly by the public and put to the voters in a 2026 ballot referendum

Jeremy Matlow: Let voter referendum decide TMH’s future
This singular decision will have an economic impact similar to the entirety of the Blueprint sales tax.

We need around 1700 petitions to get on the ballot! Can you help?

I'll be at Gaines Street Pies on Sixth Avenue today if you'd like to sign or pick up a stack for friends and family.

We also have buttons that just came in!

The world is a little less bright today.

The City Administration removed artistic crosswalks across our city.

These crosswalks slowed traffic, increased safety around area schools and improved our quality of life.

Politics today has become completely destructive and for what?

For many families in Tallahassee childcare is the single largest expense.

And for the majority of our city— childcare facilities are scarce.

We can change that.

The statewide Republican Florida party of extremism has thoughts.

We know these guys play dirty with a lot of dirty money. We aren’t going to get in the mud with them.

Let’s show them what people power looks like. Contribute today: secure.actblue.com/donate/matlo...

I'm running for Mayor.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve called Tallahassee home. Our city is special in so many ways and I’m ready to help restore the voice of the people at City Hall.

Dropped the boys off at Sealey Elementary this morning and was greeted by our Tallahassee firefighters waving at the street and the wonderful principal Demetria Clemons smiling at the front door. Thankful for this village in helping our kids transition into smart, polite young men!

Rather than correcting failed immigration policy, federal and state officials are ripping local families like this one apart.

Join us on the steps of the Florida Capitol this Saturday at 10am.

We’ve been working to address the vacant and dangerous building on Gadsden St. next to Lemoyne.

After not previously addressing issues, the owners now have 10 days to board and seal the building and clean up the yard and lawn.

Thanks to our Code Enforcement Officers working diligently.

I was briefed on the intelligence last week.

Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

“He was right to attack Iran but he should have said pretty please first.”

Is this the opposition party?

No new wars.
A final note of clarification. I am open to the idea that the US should attack Iran. But I am not open to the idea that Congress cedes all authority to the executive branch. No matter how many lickspittle sycophants in the GOP argue to the contrary.

And Trump pulls us into another war. These guys don’t care about any of us.

Democrats need to wake up and be a party that opposes war, rejects the killing of civilians and prioritizes the needs of the American people.

Disgusted to see men in black masks pulling up to job sites and harassing people who showed up to put in a hard days work.

The failure of the federal govt to streamline immigration for working people is on display and we’re all expected to pay the price as the shockwaves ripple through our economy.
Happening in Tallahassee, Florida right now. Immigration raid against people who are literally working to build our housing by ICE agents wearing military gear and looking like they are in a war-zone.
