We partnered with 5calls.org on the script to oppose Dave Weldon as CDC director. A total of 10,536 calls were made within a relatively short span of time using that script. His nomination was withdrawn.

We did this together and we can do it again.

RFK Jr. thinks that a clinical trial should be done for the entire childhood vaccine schedule. Here’s why that will never happen.

1. You can’t do a randomized trial of something that we already know is safe and effective. There would have to be a placebo group that didn’t get vaxxed. Unethical.

52-48, Senate votes to confirm RFK Jr. as the next Health and Human Services secretary.

All Republicans voted YES except one: Mitch McConnell, who joined all Democrats in voting NO.

Have a look at the map below and call or write your elected representatives about how much money your state stands to lose with the NIH’s IDC rate cap at 15%. For Arizona, it’s $43,881,528. That kind of cheddar might just wake up a few Republicans.
How much will your state lose with the new NIH indirect funding cap?

Do I have this right? Elon Musk - the guy in charge of preventing wasteful spending - dropped $40M on a Super Bowl ad?

We could permanently house 800 homeless veterans for $40M. Or provide five million meals to the hungry. Or replace lead pipes in 8,500 homes.

You know how I feel about him.

There’s nothing I could say about him that you don’t already know.

But as this next chapter of our nation begins, I just want you to know:

I am going to hold you responsible.

⚠️RFK Jr just told the US Senate that he does not know if COVID vaccines saved millions of lives.

2.4 million lives were saved by the COVID vaccines in the first 8 months alone.

COVID vaccines prevented >18.5 million US hospitalizations, 3.2 million deaths and saved $1.15 trillion in the US alone

#RFK is woefully ignorant about Medicaid. He said premiums & deductibles are too high, but patients qualify for Medicaid because they are below the poverty line (or have certain disabilities), they don’t pay premiums or deductibles. This man can’t be confirmed! #rfknomination

It’s incredibly rich of #RFK to cite our COVID death rate as a reason for promoting his chronic disease agenda. I would love to hear someone ask him how he plans to address the social determinants of health, which play the largest role in our chronic disease (and Covid!) rate. #rfknomination

#RFK jr was asked a basic question about dual eligible patients (low income + senior) and gave such a completely absurd answer, that anyone in the healthcare field should see he doesn’t have even an elementary understanding of the system he wants to lead. #rfkconfirmation
