Louisiana, New Mexico, Vermont, Illinois, and DC have all done this. Again, Massholes, we have to publicly embarrass @massgovernor.bsky.social into action.

Call her office right now. (617) 725-4005.

Find your legislators here and call them, too.

This is about food for a million people!

Been thinking about @questlove.bsky.social ever since the day of D’s passing. Just finished watching him read this piece over on IG. Quest’s eulogy is as deeply touching, interesting & funny as I knew it would be. Love to him & everyone who loved Michael Archer. www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

I’ve spent almost 2hrs now thinking about going the couple of blocks to the convenience store to get bread for grilled cheese. Still can’t get out of bed. Maybe posting about it will get me up. 🥲

Been thinking about the one time I got to see D’Angelo perform live, before Black Messiah came out, at the HOB here in Boston. It wasn’t sold out & I was aghast at that. He sounded incredible (as I knew he would) & I was too intimidated to push up to the front. Don’t think I got one photo. 🖤

Fuzzy-green-robed, be-scrunchied, hot water bottle cuddled up, and my heartburn pill is kicking in. What were we ragging on our grandmas for, exactly? This rules.

Every story quoting Trump saying this is to "rescue our nation’s capital from crime" needs to note that violent crime in D.C. is down 26%, murders are down 12%, juvenile arrests are down 20%, and ask who will get hurt from a domestic military deployment and what this "crackdown" is really about

He means Black. The city has a large and resilient and extremely longstanding Black population, and that's unacceptable to him.
Trump's talk about DC being "dirty and disgusting" in today's press conference reminds me how often Trump seems to hate the country he governs (rules?)

Today we took legal action to challenge our termination, filing an appeal with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. We did this because we believe the elimination of 18F violated safeguards that exist to protect a nonpartisan civil service.

Let’s call it like it is: Marco Buscaglia, tired from his full-time day job, saw ChatGPT as an easy way to make $ after hours to write advertorial slop for him. He was not educated on the fact that it lies/hallucinates info, and figured it didn’t matter. That is, until he got caught.

After federal troops forced a fugitive slave named Anthony Burns back into slavery in the 1850s, one Bostonian wrote, “we went to bed one night old-fashioned, conservative, Compromise Union Whigs and waked up stark mad Abolitionists.” The abuse of power radicalizes people. We are seeing that now.

The tshirts at Gracie’s said “Get an ice cream cone you coward” so I did (black raspberry Oreo; Fluff cone) and I have never eaten an ice cream more quickly or stressfully in my LIFE — purple on my shirt, face, hands, pants and the sidewalk! @unlikelywords.bsky.social you did this to me (thank you)

For someone as funny as he is, Rob Delaney sure makes me cry *a fucking lot.* He & Michelle Williams are transcendent in “Dying For Sex”, my god. And Jenny Slate breaks my heart & mends it again on repeat, she’d better win every award for this show.
