Just another childless cat lady
So this happened. The responses here and on X are largely negative, as is appropriate given the level of harm she brought to her community.
Update: Trans sisters, I was wrong.

Asking someone why they decided to become an atheist is like asking someone why they're a bigfoot skeptic. Belief in something that can't be proven is a choice. Not believing? Not a choice.

I wish Andor weren't so topical. I printed this out from the official No Kings site.

This is your periodic reminder to check all your ride share and parking apps to make sure they're active and that your payment method hasn't expired.

Anyone else hearing "Da pope" now that we know he's from Chicago?

Considering how quickly a new pope needs to pick a name, it makes me wonder if all cardinals have the equivalent of a teenaged girl's diary where they write down potential future names and put hearts around them.

I'm a tall woman who is typically happy with her height, but sometimes being the only tall person in a photo shoots me right back to my insecure junior high self. I don't think most of us will ever fully get over the things we were made fun of for when we were younger.

I know some folks are panic buying now before the forecasted shortages arrive, but all we're doing that for is cat food. As a friend pointed out, the humans in her household can adapt, but the pets cannot.

[CW: terf bullshit] Feminism is when “the reality of being a woman” is rigidly adhering to traditional gender roles, apparently. 🤪

True tales from the life of an undiagnosed neurospicy person.

Me: I would like one chocolate.

*looks in dish, sees that I have equal numbers of all three flavors*

Me: Oh no, I don't want three. Never mind.

Will this change anything? Probably not. Does it feel good? You bet your sweet bippy it does.

I just ran across the phrase "a trophy single-family residence" in a $3m real-estate listing and threw up in my mouth a little. Housing should not be a fucking trophy. If you look at it that way, then maybe that's a sign that you should be donating more to charity.

English is weird and I have sympathy for anyone who tries to use it. Case in point: I had to explain to my German boss that "fasten" doesn't mean "to make faster". She said this is why she keeps me around.

She asked if I'd contacted my senators. I said my senators were Warren and Markey, so all I needed to say to them was "Thank you and keep fighting." This is why I put up with Massachusetts weather. 2/2

As I was out snowblowing my driveway, sleet plinking off of my head, I briefly wondered why I put up with this weather. Then I thought back to a conversation with an anti-Trump Florida coworker from this morning. 1/2

I just donated these to my local library. They're someone else's problem now.

I'm watching an online fight between someone's legal next-of-kin and their unwed life partner over their remains after they died unexpectedly. If you want someone other than your legal next-of-kin to handle your funeral GET IT IN WRITING. Like, now. Even if you're healthy and young.

Clearing my driveway and front walk was enough for my Fitbit to tell me that I'd met my cardio goals for the day.

Bottom line is Boston's COVID wastewater numbers, top line is Worcester's. Mask up, folks. The seasonal spike isn't over. (Will add link in comments.)

What a weird way to point out her transphobic views left her surrounded by people who are cool with sexual assault.

I was today years old when I finally realized why so many women's shoes that look cute in small sizes look awkward in large sizes. The heel never changes in either height or width. Both should change proportionately with the size of the shoe if it's not a flat shoe.

Nothing says "I thought this was consensual" like an NDA or two.
