Just a reminder that the penalty for being in undocumented in America is civil, not criminal. It’s a fine of $50. And you get deported. It’s not being kidnapped by masked men and disappeared to an alligator-surrounded concentration camp or South Sudan or a prison in El Salvador.
The first group of immigrants has arrived at a new “camp” deep in the Florida Everglades, where officials are openly describing it as “concentrating” certain people in one area. Have you seen the photos of the flooding? This entire site is a human rights violation.
