I wish that could be my weekend 😕 #WritingReportCards
This book has been on my shelf for a while. Now felt like the perfect time to jump in. Halfway through and it’s living up to the hype. I’m surprised how quick it is to read 💙📚 #currentlyreading
Cannot stop thinking about how Octavia Butler wrote a book in 1993 about climate change. It opens with deadly fires in LA in 2025. In the story, a fascist President has just won office with the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again."

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.
They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.
It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
