I've got so much respect for Anthony Hamilton seeking Hadjar out to console him after his pre-race crash. These guys prepare all their lives for the chance to race in F1. I'm glad Hamilton was able to offer him words of encouragement during what was a devastating moment.

The Gävle Goat in Sweden is a Yule goat figure erected every year since 1966, and every year the people try to find a way to burn it down. They have a live 24/7 feed where you can watch the goat. 42 out of 58 goats have been destroyed or damaged in some way.

When the Parcel Post started, some parents used it to mail there kids to relatives. In 1913, an 8-month-old baby in Ohio was mailed by his parents to his grandmother who lived a few miles away. The baby was insured for $50. 😂

A2: I am using ChatGPT, various AI tools, and Notion. I find they can help in unique ways. I am in higher ed research administration and ChatGPT has been wonderful in providing summaries. I am building out several GPT for specific functions. #EduSkyChat

I wonder if this is a precursor of what is to come. It scares me.

If Trump's first administration was stocked with Bond Villains, it seems like the second one is going with more of a Legion of Doom vibe.

A brief thread...

FYI if you're using the Pins feed, it's running behind since ~November 14th, 2024.

I don't have capacity to handle it right now, but I'll get to fixing it when I've got a chance in the next few days/weeks. The huge new influx of users and activity has been very exciting but my poor systems are sad.

Becky Chambers is one of my favorite authors. I've read "A Psalm for the Wild-Built" and "A Prayer for the Crown-Shy" three times over the past year. They are a calm read that also allow for self-reflection. 💙📚
