I have to agree. I am an adopter of AI (not in a classroom setting), but I recognize it is a tool that is not necessarily appropriate in every circumstance. There is more important foundational knowledge and skills that kids need to develop first.

Years ago a former boss mentioned The Boss, and I had no idea who he was talking about. Needless to say, I was given a lecture about the greatness of Springsteen. I've loved his music and him every since.

I would have liked to have them available as well. Some of them did come in handy to a certain degree.

Don't be nervous! It is such a great tool, and you can really make it into whatever you need it to be. My best advice is to watch some YouTube videos to get ideas on how others are using it, but then figure out what you want out of it. It can be what you want it to be which is the best part.

I feel the same way. I have spent too much time training it and building different GPTs. I hope they will eventually provide a way to organize all the threads into folders for better organization.

It's a productivity, organization, note taking tool. You can customize it to be what you want it to be, so I am creating things to help me organize projects, knowledge, etc. It is free for educators.

Yes, I am nervous about it. I am looking ahead at opportunities with deadlines sometime next year, but I also wonder if they will still be around once the time arrives.
