Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Huge Pop for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. "We need him"

He talks about "1 in 36 babies have autism."

"Something's wrong, and Bobby's going to find it."

Once again, the increase in autism diagnoses is a sign of progress, not a problem!

VACCINES SAVE LIVES

Vaccines ended the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vaccines and other public health measures save the lives of millions of children worldwide.

Do not let RFKJr and the Trump admin take us back to a time when 5 in 10 children died before the age of 5.

Infectious diseases killed Victorian children at alarming rates — their novels highlight the fragility of public health today
Between 40% and 50% of children didn’t live past 5 in the US during the 19th century. Popular authors like Charles Dickens documented the common but no less gutting grief of losing a child.

Reject Closing the Department of Education! We stand firm in our conviction to protect students with disabilities and their families.
Do not threaten the lives of our children.

Full statement www.copaa.org/news/692988/...
Reject ED Closure: Do not threaten the lives of our children. - Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Inc.
In the past few weeks there has been a flurry of administrative actions, such as Executive Orders (EO), issued without clear authority, guidance or any plan of action.  We are particularly concerned about how our nation’s 8 million children with disabilities served under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the 1.5 million eligible under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 will be protected. Some of these orders and actions directly threaten the safety, health, and education of our children. And, they sow fear throughout the disability community, especially for parents of children with disabilities, who rely on the federal government to safeguard their children. Simply stated, eliminating or weakening the federal government’s obligation to protect students with disabilities from discrimination and or to deprive them of a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is cruel, irresponsible and unacceptable.
