Once in a while we get an application (or even just a detailed concept) that is both a hybrid of currently known systems, but also something new. Very nice to see.
I’ve been working on an experimental, multiplayer, open-world AI chat system called Numinex.

1. Uses branching comment trees
2. Multiplayer/multimodel
3. Explicit context curation
4. Built on ATProto
5. Open observation of model behaviors

Nice to have a buzzword for the salient, addictive content with which social media algos snag our attention: SNARF.

For their SNARF-suppressing social media experiment, let's hope Peretti / BuzzFeed choose AT Protocol!

So I truly believe that one of the most important things we can do in a free society is keep building the tools required to maintain our freedoms. That’s why I was attracted to smart contracts, decentralized organizations and open social media.

Fun unintended use of the AT Protocol.
**This Website is Hosted on Bluesky**

This weekend I found myself digging through the AT Protocol specifications and the Bluesky Personal Data Server (PDS) implementation. In doing so, I discovered that I could setup a website that is fully hosted on Bluesky.

A technical deep-dive, since people have been asking me for my thoughts. I'll expand a bit on some of the key points here in a thread. 🧵

Is there any team building a Bluesky client with P2P features? A resilient client that would work on adversarial conditions like an internet with censored traffic or even without any connection? Say a crowd of demonstrators whose internet was cut but still want to pass messages among themselves.
