The current administration in the U.S. is basically a performance/load test (one could even argue a fuzz test) of our country’s basic systems. We are rapidly filing bug reports, and while some of them are being fixed, the terrifying part is seeing so many of them being resolved as Works As Designed.

I get to meet my new friend tomorrow! 🥰 I am picking her up to ride to game night. She lives about an hour away, and then it’s another 40 minute drive to the place. We’re meeting like 10 other girls, everyone’s bringing games, and literally no one has met anyone else before 🙃 I can’t wait 😁

I’m invited to a girls’ game night on Saturday! It’s all people I’ve never met, so I’m terrified, but also excited bc this is such a dream! I’ve wanted to be invited to something like this forever 🥹 I have to decide what to wear and what game to bring 🥲 and remember to be myself, but not too much 😅

This digital game cartridge stuff Nintendo is doing is not only convoluted, it’s even less usable than the current way licensing works. If I hadn’t gotten a Steam Deck recently, I’d be more annoyed by it. My Switch is getting dusty, and tbh the Switch 2 is probably gonna be a Zelda/Mario box for me.

My daughter just sat and talked to me about her day at school for over an HOUR. It was lovely. She went through everything she did in every class. She hasn’t done that in ages. The other day I came across and dusted off what I am told was my paternal grandfather’s old safety razor. I never met the man. I bought some blades for it and now I’m watching videos on how to use it. I’ve never been taught or used anything but an electric coil razor before, so this is interesting!
