“Lean into the cringe” is my new mantra. But honestly most of the time when I think of cringe I think of overused things that are passed their expiry date, rather than novel or new individual expression.

True. They aren’t scared of any of us individually, but just as a concept that negates the premise of every patriarchal system they believe in.

I’m sorry you’re feeling that way. I’m sure it’s not all on you. I have been there for sure. Sometimes asking what someone needs helps, other times they don’t really even know what they need. Sometimes they need to be left alone but don’t realize it. Relationships are complicated.
