also just discovered that they made a new Inspector Lynley and cast some normal pretty actress for Havers, and holy shit fuck off. There are actresses out there prepared to give the best performance of their lives as Havers, and instead conventionally attractive woman with nice hair??? UGH. no.

I quite liked it. I like that it's old fashioned british tv, in that it looks more like a play than tv and has the traditional fake american accent. (I'm so nostalgic for when americans were all fake.)

Tassels are really easy and this video is good at explaining them. I used 6 skeins of embroidery thread for mine, to make them big and full, but you could make weaker tassels if you want to.

I love it with my heart, I haven't seen it since it was real, and perhaps it's worse than I remember, but I only remember how much I loved it, and specifically Kirk and James Spader's very purposeful love, because they're both actors who very much excel in loving people softly.

It's so addictive, because it's LOVELY... when it's not the most dystopian tv imaginable! (And honestly the australian version isn't even as dystopian as the US because they're not doing it in order to afford Basic Healthcare.)
