Jeff. A creature of habit, taste and dislikes. Busy doing nothing. Tired of people.
Thought I would have a little look at the Scotland game - Szymon Marciniak is probably one of the best referees in Europe at the moment, but he's had a mare giving Kristensen a second yellow for that. The penalty decision was a bit ropey too. Our wee friends have been pretty poor however.

Don't most DJ's just use an iPod anyway?
A playlist on shuffle is better than a DJ for all parties, most pubs, and more than half of all clubs. You have to be VERY good as a DJ to be better than an iPod on shuffle.

Decent player that Haaland, might have a good career you know.

What on earth is Rob Edwards doing? Swapping high-flying Boro for Wolves, who look certain to go down. I understand there's a connection with his new club, but considering the respective positions of both clubs, it just looks like a bizarre decision.

I don't expect many of my international friends to understand this, but that Asda advert can fuck off.

Delicious from Doku #ManCity

Eventful. We have played some exceptional football so far and deserve the lead. A 3rd goal early in the 2nd half would be huge - I don't think there would be any way back for them after that. #ManCity

That's a rubbish penalty from Haaland #ManCity

I don't know why, but I remain amazed at the number of guys in the UK who thinks that dousing themselves in cheap aftershave will cover up the stench of the 2 joints they smoked on their way to work in the morning. Some advice lads, it doesn't fucking work, so give it a rest, yeah.

I've just seen a brief video of the clash between Lookman and Juric. Hard to believe the forward is still at Atalanta given the treatment he has received. What's harder to believe is that Ivan Juric is in charge of Atalanta - how on earth did he land that gig? He's such a poor coach.

González, Doku and Foden have been exceptional so far tonight. Absolutely brilliant to watch #ManCity

They've chosen a bangin' tune for this year's John Lewis Christmas Ad.

The Tommys and Reformers are politicising the John Lewis Christmas ad, do they ever have a fucking day off? In the words of Ted Hastings - Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey, can we just move this thing along before it drives us all round the bloody bend?

The BBC and other outlets waxing lyrical about Liverpool's performance this evening - it was a decent effort, and I am under no illusions that they will pose a real threat to #ManCity at the weekend, but Real Madrid were exceptionally poor. Hardly a game for the ages, as others have suggested.
November 4, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Arda Güler clearly wasting his time at Madrid knocking about with the likes Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham. He could be having fun with Nico, Nico, and Rico at #ManCity, oh some other fella too, goes by the name of Haaland I think.

A good game yesterday - it was nice to see a side trying to play against #ManCity, rather than the usual turgid tactics we see from every away side at the Etihad. It made it far more interesting to watch, and Bournemouth deserve credit for their approach.

Poorly advised - his agents clearly wanted a move to a big name, and that move has now backfired. He needed to be playing regularly to develop, but this will have set him back. Divine Mukasa has certainly jumped ahead of him in the queue in my opinion.
#ManCity are considering recalling Claudio Echeverri in January if he fails to get 50% of minutes with Bayer Leverkusen. Should Echeverri return, he will not be part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and instead loaned back out during the same window.

Tidy finish from Cherki - he certainly deserves his goal #ManCity
October 29, 2025 at 9:38 PM
That's a great finish from Marmoush - nice to see someone take a risk rather than squaring it across the box. #ManCity
October 29, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Swansea playing for the break, or possibly penalties, which is fair enough but it groundhog day for #ManCity - all we seem to do is spend games breaking down packed defences - it really is rather dull.
October 29, 2025 at 9:18 PM
A few players look rather rusty after a few weeks out, and off the pace due to limited minutes, but I would expect a little better nonetheless. Encouraging signs, but #ManCity are going to need more than just Cherki to get a result.
October 29, 2025 at 8:41 PM
It's a great finish, but that's really poor from Nico González, who ran towards the ball, leaving Franco with acres of space to take the shot. #ManCity

A reminder, if anyone needed it, of who or rather what we are dealing with.

Like many of my fellow blues, I am thinking of @alexismonteith.bsky.social. and I hope he, his family and his friends have not been too impacted by the storms in Jamaica. Hopefully we will have an update soon.
