Tbqh this was one of the most timid "punk & ska" fest seasons I have ever seen. And the local fest we did tonight was no exception. However, we were the only band that brought this up on stage tonight for whatever reason. Caught this fresh ish afterwards.

It was great to see the old Wednesday night "Eugene" family on a Sunday. Also there is a band called Rude Television that blew me away (Devo meets Jeff Rosenstock + hardcore). Passed out some hand bills for jazz night and will now be passing out literally.

One of my instructors at Temple, Ed Flanagan was a guitar player and band director in those days. He used to tell some awesome stories about doing three day runs in Philly/NYC/ AC building this incredible community of players.
Hall & Oats got their start backing bands like the Platters, the 4 Tops, the Isley Brothers, etc. along with some other great musicians like the early SNL band members.
