This is also why he insisted on indicting James Comey, he slipped the other day and began speaking about President Obama again in a current frame of reference and you will soon start hearing "Crooked Hillary" rants again. His mind is pudding and this is all he can remember.

“THIS IS WAR.”
“Civil war.”
“The Left is the party of murder.”
“The Left won’t stop unless it’s forced to.”

Influential figures across the right have decided to use Charlie Kirk’s death to promote their fantasies of war and retribution against Democrats and leftists.
“THIS IS WAR”: Some right-wing figures call for retribution following Kirk killing
“More people will be murdered if the Left isn’t crushed with the power of the state.”

4 American Presidents, 12 Congressmembers, 4 federal judges, 4 state governors, 22 state legislators, and 9 mayors have been assassinated while in office. "Political violence has no place here" is an aspirational sentiment, but honestly, political violence seems to be as American as baseball.

Today, we honor the lives lost and the courage of the first responders who were impacted on September 11, 2001.

We remember not only the tragedy of that day, but the deep scars it left on families, communities, and our nation.

Political violence is a sign of a nation that is insecure

The idea that random violence is a virtue of a society is mortifying

Charlie Kirk condoned political violence against enemies of his political ideology

He used his voice to support this insecure society where random violence is a virtue

Let’s make something really clear. No one is celebrating Kirk’s death. The majority of people don’t want anyone to experience the horrors of gun violence. What you are seeing are people highlighting how this man was a vile, disgusting human being who is unworthy of support or empathy. A thread

From a Canadian 🇨🇦

I feel very sad.

As if, standing on the shore, I'm watching the "USS America" drift away.

Slowly slipping over the horizon...

Wishing it had life boats.

Or a Captain.

It's really quite stunning that we have a president of the United States who could sue anyone calling him a child molester for defamation and it would be virtually inconceivable that he could raise a triable issue of fact that the defendant acted with actual malice under New York Times v. Sullivan.

Democrats seem to have made their decision: they want a (probably short-term) extension of ACA subsidies in exchange for passing a budget bill. In other words, they want something Republicans need in exchange for something Republicans want.
From me:
Democrats Bet Briefly Preventing a Health Insurance Apocalypse Is Good Politics
Their ask in exchange for avoiding a government shutdown is an extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies. What happens when Republicans say no?
