I will oppose any bill that pretends the health care crisis can be handled later, when we all know there is no commitment and no guarantee that the House will ever get that vote.

And of course, it didn’t hurt that the NM-02 district was rejiggered by the Dem NM admin before Rep Vasquez was first elected. I’m not saying he wouldn’t have won over the distasteful Republican incumbent at the time (or been re-elected since), but it didn’t hurt either.
