Nice cake. Well done. Being a decent cook is not restricted to only cake. Here’s a loaf of New Mexican pecan bacon bread (New Mexican because it contains green chile). My SO thought it was great.

That pipe entrance needs to be at ground level, otherwise the kids won’t be able to get out or back into the burrow. Probably eroded out by wind or dig up by a coyote. The top can be armored with rocks or something similar. The entrance should look like this photo.

Robert Earl Keen is back on the road. He played a great show at the Lensic Theatre in Santa Fe, NM last evening, including many of his greatest hits, and was accompanied by an excellent band. See him if you get the chance. He also is scheduled to play in Taos on July 6.

1959 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France (TdF) photographed at Sonoma Raceway. This car was driven to 3rd place overall in the 1959 LeMans race by Jean Blaton “Beurlys” and Leon Dernier “Eldé” for the Équipe Nationale Belge team.
