I want to say thank you to all of the anthologies who have turned down the one story I’ve submitted. It’s allowed me to get some additional feedback and make some very needed edits. I feel confident that now I’m finally done with it, besides hating the title so much.

Personally, I love the Terrifier films, but to say films / literature / music are not political is such a lame excuse to not answer a question. And in 2025? LOL OKAY. A creator’s intent and personal beliefs are always going to be in their art. If not, what’s the point of making anything?

Weird or obscure baseball is also good. I’ve read books on the history of pitches, players working in a steel mill to avoid war, a book only about backup catchers, minor league journalists, etc. to get an idea of what I mean.
Please give me your audiobook recommendations! The semester starts in a couple days and I need something to listen to on my almost two hour drive each way. It needs to be horror. I just finished @chucktingle.bsky.social’s Bury Your Gays and @lizkerin.bsky.social’s First Light.

At my bookstore job, we received so many boxes of books owned by someone who clearly owned a thousand cats. This is based solely on how awful my allergies have been.

Benny Rose The Cannibal King was, I’m pretty sure, the first thing I read when I moved to Vermont three years ago. It’s exciting to see it get a new home in a new collection where so many more people will be able to read it. I can’t wait!
