Andrei Markov said not being able to reach 1,000 #NHL games was something that bothered him at the time but right now he's moved on and has no regrets about anything that happened in the past.

While that may be true, I don’t think they’re giving up a decade of a difference maker for a one year stop gap at centre.

This is the deal. Take it or don’t. Hughes isn’t given up 2025-2035 talent for 2026-2027 talent.

Reinbacher with another point. He’s almost at a point per game. He also pulled a plus 2 as that is also changing for the better.

He’s on a bit of a heater.

Now to do this consistently.

But for sure he’s levelled up the last half dozen.

Oh by the way, Laval won 4-3.

Hey Y'all. Everyone is in such a great mood tonight. I'm gonna tag my COTW. Hope you'll read it, and if you feel like talking about anything or asking any questions, I'm around to chat for an hour or two while I watch Texas A&M against Texas.

Attach the comment/question here.
One of the best performances of the season for the Canadiens. They’re 6 games over NHL 500 and in a playoff spot after a win in Vegas.

Here’s the uplifting Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

Canadiens hope Montembeault's strong performance in win a sign of things to come
A much-needed win in Vegas should give Canadiens goalie Samuel Montembeault some of the confidence he needs, especially after it bottomed out after his last start.

Five years at 30 million. That’s 6 per year for Mike Matheson.

This is a player telling the world with this deal that he wants to win a Stanley Cup in Montreal and he wants to facilitate the GM’s ability to get that done.

This is a remarkable moment for the organization. They lock up their 1D.

There is a reason why Witkoff did not want any officials with the State Dept or anyone else present during his many meetings w/Putin - he didn’t want witnesses to his treasonous behavior. Highly unusual, but makes perfect sense when you consider that he only cared about Russia.

Also spot on about the Habs particularly that power play.
