If you've partied w/ravers or nurses, you've heard some of the best, most insane stories. I have done both and have even partied with nurses who were ravers. (long, long ago)
I knew a couple that were ravers and nurses and one morning they both realized THEY WERE LATE FOR SURGERY AND HAD TO GO.

When I became a young reporter, I was horrified to learn we had to keep our writing at a seventh grade reading level. Having to dumb things down was one of the biggest reasons I left the papers. People said I was stupid for leaving but 25 years later, it looks like the right choice. Life is weird.

I ran out of extra juice yesterday and stopped posting everything I made but last night was perfect. I cannot believe I have to do it again today. At least I won't be cooking the entire spread. Just on potato duty at Dad's house but I AM SO TIRED. MY NECK HURTS ALSO. Going to need some wine.

While Thanksgiving is a bullshit holiday and actually commemorates genocide, cooking is my family's love language and so we opt to celebrate family and bounty instead. This year is especially important for private reasons, so I am pouring all my love into a second Thanksgiving meal. Currently happy.
