As a dev, I find it's a lot less energy to STAY in "the zone"

Vs context switch while I'm waiting on something, then get back to work

When using an AI tool, I cannot "stay in the zone" while waiting on the tool. And so I often get... distracted. By attempting to "save time!!"

@jaz.bsky.social just raised the point that the new ios looks like some shit you would have done after jailbreaking and installing cydia way back when, and like....i wonder if this just means that some late millennials who were jailbreaking their iphones in highschool are making design decisions now

Every 10-20 years, a breakthrough technology promises non-developers to finally create software without needing to hire programmers.

So far, every such technology resulted in the need for more devs… expert in this NEW technology (or knowing how to fix it up).

Every. Time.

I've had parts of this written down for a while - but I thought it was about time to document the detailed version of what happened during Balatro development

Man, always seen some weird behaviour with mobile web when using 100vh (where the address bar takes up space and causes the website to scroll when it collapses)...

And for Vite integration: we are now passing all relevant tests in github.com/rolldown/vite, the temporary fork of Vite that runs on Rolldown instead of esbuild / Rollup. Expect a proper release early 2025!

Yet another HTTP client, but I like that its simple, open source, based on Tauri (backend written in Rust), and doesn't force you to use the cloud since it doesn't have cloud features... yet.

Only issue is that reported response times seems not representative of actual times.
