I'm just spitballin' here, but what if we imagine various comedy riffs that go back to even longer-ago time periods explaining something to younger people of those days. Might we then gain a greater appreciation and respect for the commonality of aging?

This is absolutely freaking obscene.

Ageism research has shown that children as young as 3 years old can begin to absorb ageist messages and fear becoming old people. So our capitalist society has an even better idea: Let's add "lookism" to the indoctrination.

I truly wish we put as much emphasis on---and effort into--- improving our society and saving the Earth as we do working to find ways to live longer (albeit healthier).
