Today I'm thinking about my mom. She died 30 years ago but is still with me in the lessons of her example as an assertive, resilient, dedicated person.

I wish all mothers' children the same opportunity to learn life-affirming lessons from them, whether those women are still here or are gone.

Are you attending the American Society on Aging's On Aging 2025 conference in Orlando? If so, won't you join me and a distinguished group of programming experts for a very special event? 1/2

Yep! With more than 1,400 protests happening in the U.S. on April 5, I shared these two photos of the #HandsOff one I attended in my area, Beaverton, Oregon, a town right outside Portland. It was an elating experience, full of camaraderie and passion! And attended by people of ALL ages!

Question: Where on this day are the voices of women's male allies? Why should it be only a woman's job to advocate for a woman's rights?

Look at this picture, fellas, and tell me that you're OK with leaving your mothers, sisters, wives/partners, and daughters to do 100% of the civil rights work.

The holidays are coming up, and gift-giving may be on your mind.

Do you know any older adults? Anyone who works with or serves older adults? Anyone caring for an older adult? Anyone who cares about older adults? Anyone who is not an older adult but hopes someday to be one?
