By this logic, I’m not English because my ancestors derive from Switzerland and wales (the celts). Nobody would ever challenge me though would they?
The racists are idiotic and nonsensical, as well as repugnant.

I definitely don’t agree with the anti-immigration rhetoric, but it’s not untrue to claim the care service is propped up by underpaid labour. Most of the care home sector is now owned by private equity, who enforce >50% EBITDA margins, to facilitate healthy dividends to their investors.

I’m old enough to remember when Britain introduced ‘gold visas’ under - I think - David Cameron’s government. Within a few years, the Russians were murdering their own on British soil.
REPORTER: Would a Russian oligarch be eligible for a gold card?

TRUMP: Yeah, possibly. Hey. I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people.

“High costs” yet they can happily maintain >50% EBITDA margins to pay off their PE owners 😏

For those people saying “so what, he’s getting rid of government waste”, would a group of 20 years old with no industry experience understand what you did last week and the value of it? 🤷‍♀️
Federal workers began receiving emails Saturday asking them to describe what they did last week — as Elon Musk warned on social media that, if employees fail to respond, it will be taken as a resignation

Imagine the outrage if this happened in the UK

Labour need to say again and again that Nigel Farage was the driver of Brexit. Young voters, especially 18-24 year olds, are unlikely to remember the Brexit campaign and the lies that were told.

The mad thing about this is how much they targeted advertising based on georgraphy. Living in London, I never saw these adverts.

Can’t believe that Nigel Farage has the audacity to cite our declining wealth and net migration as the UK’s key issues that *he’ll* fix… they’re both a direct result of his #Brexit!! #BBCLauraK

I work with many Americans and from a young age, they’re taught the principles of public speaking (think elementary show & tell). You can see the impact to their confidence in the workplace vs Brits. Drama is more useful than just for those who want to join the film industry.
Drama has a powerful positive impact on young people

As drama teaching faces cuts at school, it must be remembered the profound effect on society’s youth it has, and the force for good it is.
