Guaranteeing a loan is very different to subsidising it. The government would only pay out if the consumer wasn’t able to pay - and they’d be subject to credit checks before taking on the loan. Not saying I agree with removing the 2 child benefit cap but I don’t think the two are comparable.

I use instagram to stay connected to friends I have overseas so I don’t want to ditch it completely really… the tech is so embedded into our day to day lives. That’s the scary thing 🫣

A Man Called Ove (/Otto). The writing is fantastic, with a lovely story that digs into human emotion and how we manage grief. The film adaptation with Tom Hanks was really good as well.
