They lied about it. All of it. A thug cop shot an unarmed woman five times without justification, boasted about it to his colleagues, and then this administration tried cover it all up by arresting her and charging her with felonies.
Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.

This is legal jargon for "you and your lawyers are full of shit," which is really not something that should happen when the "you" is a federal government agent and the "your lawyers" are the federal government's lawyers.

It was a print of this drawing I did all the way back in high-school. Years ago, my dad asked about it (it's based on a photo of an old-ass cabin near where I grew up) and suggested I make some prints so he could try and sell em for me

when he came back he had $400 for me

I was fucking stunned

Four years ago today I got this photo from Travis Peacock of a full miniature-scale print of the Ochrenvault dungeon.

The original map (on the right) was drawn at a scale of 1 square = 10 feet and was designed to be drawn on a standard interior door at 2 squares per inch.

Thief in the Night took almost a week to draw. This took under two hours. And an hour of that was spent actively roleplaying while drawing.

Sadly, it ended up very static instead of dynamic.

/11 Trump is what he is: an increasingly demented jumble of personality disorders prone to barking out whatever angry stupid thing pops into his head. And he’s the “leader of the free world.”

But many politicians who took an oath to uphold the Constitution will echo his lawless dreck.

It is particularly galling that Trump is calling for the execution of people who actually served honorably in the military, while he took a bone spur exemption and famously boasted that his Vietnam was dodging syphilis in 70s New York.

Just a historically loathsome figure by any measure.

This is a lawyer thing that is far more common than lawyers like to admit. It comes from backwards reasoning. ”We want result X. We have to put on testimony Y. Who knows about those facts and is qualified? Do a declaration for him and put it in there.”
