WIth generative AI like with social media, we will be the products, moreso than the consumers. The companies controlling AI chatbots will make more profit from our data than from selling a service.

If people on the left really want to abolish the police, I think we need to talk about implementing alternatives beforehand, not after.
For example there's often a problematic white male drug dealer, who goes around in leftist spaces, getting people addicted to drugs or enabling their addictions.

I don't get how anyone can justify the existence of billionaires. They obviously didn't work a million times harder than someone with $1000. If they did that they would be dead.

It feels like someone is holding a gun to my head and telling me to work, even when I'm trying to rest. I don't know when they are going to shoot but they keep saying they will. I will try to take the gun and shoot them in the head but it's hard when they're a metaphor.

Do the racists rallying in Australia today want the 1/3 of Australians born overseas to leave, or the parents of 1/2 of us?
They're just playing into the hands of the rich if they think immigration has caused the housing crisis.

Boycott the low-wage 100. Some of them are also part of the Palestine BDS so you can get 2 boycotts in 1 (e.g. IBM, Amazon, Starbucks, Mondelez)

The more rigid your society's concept of gender, the more people will feel they don't fit either category. But people will only be open about that if the society is also inclusive of non-binary people.
