This makes a lot of sense, provided that it includes a majority portion dedicated to helping people in Canada and abroad, in times of piece. Of course, I’m hoping that learning combat, de-escalation strategies, teamwork and discipline would play an important role as well.

This makes a lot of sense, provided that it includes a majority portion dedicated to helping people in Canada and abroad, in times of piece. Of course, I’m hoping that learning combat, de-escalation strategies, teamwork and discipline would play an important role as well.

What if Trump was a canary in the coal mine, sent by the oligarchs to see how badly they can break the USA before people revolt? Perhaps in an effort to find a new steady state, a new “normal”? He’s obviously a puppet of the oligarchs, so it’s possible.

It seems to me that conservatives (or republicans, or more generally, the right) work hard on building short slogans that turn neighbors against each other, and then build policies around those slogans. It’s quite sickening, really.

The US has more than 8 times the population of Canada. That’s more than double the Russia/Ukraine ratio. In terms of military, the US has 100X the budget of Canada. As much as I believe in standing up to bullies, I don’t think many of us want to leave our children a ravaged land. #LiberalDebate

She did fantastically in the debate. Her French was the best of the group. Her views are the ones that match mine the best. But for this election, in this unprecedented volatile context, I think our only chance to avoid a disastrous PP majority is to choose Carney.

Looks like the word “czar” or “tsar” has been used before in a crisis. This one from The Bay of Pigs chapter of Hugh Sidey’s “John F. Kennedy, President”.
