Our programme manager @jdavies92.bsky.social joined the packed room for the #LGAConf25 session on tackling homelessness in London.

Shockingly, 1 in 21 children in London are living in temporary accomodation - that's more than 1 in every classroom.

More than ever, urgent change needs to happen.

The Renters' Rights Bill is a chance to transform the conditions and experiences of renters - but only if its protected from being watered down by those with vested interests. Alongside @rentersreformco.bsky.social we urge the government to pass the strongest version of the bill without delay.
Our new analysis shows more than 1 in 4 peers in the House of Lords are landlords or have ties to property or lettings.

We were pleased to coordinate this open letter to Angela Rayner on guarantors signed by 28 organisations.

Far from allowing certain types of tenants access to housing, guarantor requests are often a tool for discrimination. They must be restricted.
