Take a look at this report that I authored with my colleagues. We will get an update in PHS tomorrow.
I’m also looking at an ordinance requiring a citywide bathroom strategy and increasing public toilet ratios depending on the population (similar to NYC).

If you want to keep your sign, please take it down tonight or tomorrow. We'll be picking up signs that are still standing throughout the week after the drop off event to be in compliance with state law. 2/

Some of the membership of these orgs were Latino. Who are strong advocates of rent stabilization and only 1 candidate (Fateh) supported it.
I’m glad they still told people to rank others (they didn’t have to).

It’s the same talking points we get at the federal level. That progressives should shut up and vote for moderates in primaries because of “electability”.
It’s the same points that was used against Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

People are also assuming the the East African community would automatically go to another person but Frey? Wrong.
That progressives would automatically vote for people against rent stabilization? Who didn’t campaign? Against a Labor Standards Board? Against raising the minimum wage? Wrong.

I think Minneapolitans gravitate to this kind of analysis because it inoculates them from their cognitive dissonance, easy to blame the far left, but having Fateh as an option did not force anyone back in the arms of Frey.

Exactly. As if the Left prevented moderates from rallying around a candidate more aligned with their values. People are desperate to blame the Left to hide the fact that they could have had a different outcome and CHOSE this one.

Kay announced her campaign in August with a goal of robust community engagement, youth investment & programs, and climate resiliency.
I’m excited to have a commissioner who will support labor and workers. Someone who is pro-youth, pro-green spaces, and will get stuff done. 2/
