Every time I listen to Glass Beams I think of you for some reason. Our musical tastes differ quite a bit, but every once in a while I think we would nod our heads in unison.

HA! Do you know @textfiles.com? I've only met him a couple of times ages ago and did some volunteer transcription, but he could probably point you to the right people. I assume they have to have some program for researchers.

Are these available to purchase as a collection. I am not seeing links to them on their site. Did I just miss that in the article?

I did watch this in English. I would have preferred not to, but it was late and I didn't feel like searching. I will watch it again in Spanish as soon as I can.

Women protagonists with agency where they are the primary source of action.

This is a wrestling movie, so there is at least 30 min of just watching a wrestling match

Practical creature effects are pretty great, I am not totally sure how they did it. The suit actor must not have been able to see

I am enjoying the series, but it feels like the Ineffectualbots vs the AynRandicons and can be frustrating. Someone should just staple a solar panel and battery to Cosmos, or change the Insecticons so they can eat garbage and make Energon that way. World Peace achieved.

* Non human Atlanteans are canon
* Magic and wizards are canon
* Magical artifacts can perform time travel
* Human like aliens are canon

* Cutting a single wire can disable an Autobot. Doesn’t really feel like advanced tech. Intelligent robots with a single point of failure covered by a thin sheet of metal.
* There is not enough Jazz

* My own canon makes me think that Cybertron was a lost technology civilization. Neither side seems to actually understand how they are made, things regularly go wrong AND YET they still do things like create the Dinobots on a whim who seem to have sentience and autonomy.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* That said, the Decepticons could probably be completely disabled by some conspiracy theorist introducing Megatron to perpetual motion machine scams.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* Truly evil humans in the series are a rarity with a couple of notable examples
* The human characters don’t show up enough, especially Chip and Carly. They could probably solve all Autobot issues and shut down the Decepticons if they just hung out and brainstormed for two hours.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* As the series goes on themes shift to the futility of war. Many Autobots struggle with wanting to do science or art instead of fight, some Decepticons do as well. Devastator is loyal but seems deeply unhappy with his day to day work.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* Autobots try to preserve the environment, Decepticons try to exploit it. This is almost always in service to both sides needing resources.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* 4 million years of hibernation was a weird narrative choice and I am definitely feeling for Shockwave sitting at that console the whole time. That David Warner sounding dude must be completely insane.
* The original theme seems to be largely environmental.
August 29, 2025 at 7:50 PM
* The Autobots are earnest, but largely not very bright.
* The Decepticons also lack intelligence, but also have no morality.
