Spent the last 48 hours infusing rum with toasted coconut. It's funny how much the taste has changed from 24-48 hours. It's mellowed out considerably. I can already tell it is leaps and bounds above store bought and very cloudy due to the coconut fat. I'll do some filtering tonight and see how it is

I love this scene and it is one of the most effective in the whole film. We rarely get this kind of creeping dread in fantasy, animated or not.

I love this scene and it is one of the most effective in the whole film. We rarely get this kind of creeping dread in fantasy, animated or not.

We're an animation nerd family and we raised similar kids. It is totally possible @ralphbakshi.bsky.social comes up in conversation once a week for the last decade. My parents took me to see American Pop in the drive in in '81 and it sent me down a particular path. Glad he and Eddie are on Bluesky.

I've finished two honkaku novels, The Decagon House Murders and The MIll House Murders. They were fine. I had high hopes that were not met. TBH 50% of the problems were probably the English translation and the narrator of the first novel. I like Mill House a lot more, but still... Richard Osman next
