“Incognito” priest. Reads more than posts. Northern raised but those are my southern approved cheese grits which are much better looking than my “smiling” face.
Went outside and looked up, wondering what the brightest light was…and it just happened to be the ISS going overhead

Suddenly called away to attend to something before I could finish the food order Sunday’s receptions. This how my ADHD mind needed me to remind myself to finish the order as soon as I sat back down.

Rainbow! Double rainbow!

Can’t see them in the picture, but there are three rabbits and four blue jays in that small garden plot this morning and I’m just sitting on my patio drinking my coffee and grateful for this moment. Lots of other shit in the world right now, but that’s a few square feet of goodness right there.

Just brought this Cherokee Purple in from the garden and I love the zipper look of the split on its side.

This is why we didn’t have hot water the last couple days. A bit nerve wracking to discover. Happened within the last week and thankfully nothing else happened!

Took this last year when at Taize on sabbatical with my family. Absolutely love the fine detail of John and Jesus meeting each other in this.

One year ago, our family arrived in Taize Community and this was the sunset that greeted us.

This is a beautiful photo essay. Thank you for sharing it all.

This image reminds me of the Croi at Corrymeela Community in Northern Ireland. This isn’t a great image, but the round architecture and almost spiral pathway really draw you into the center.

Curious if anybody knows what flowering plant this is? It seems to grow as a vine. I’m in Western New York if that helps. Thanks!

Actually in my office! Not pictured, the walking boot for my broken toe.

It’s too bad blue sky hasn’t worked out scratch and sniff posts yet. This rose doesn’t just look stunning, it smells incredible too

Does this mean I need to re-write my sermon for next week? ⚓️

More #peony blooms coming along. The next bush to start blooming will be one that has a nice perfume, but this one has nearly nothing.

The first of many is blooming!

Planted about 5 years ago and this is the first fruit we’ve seen! May not ripen though as the tree has a case of peach leaf curl. Still super excited to see some fruiting tho!!!
