Well, I was cautiously optimistic that this year might be better. And already that illusion is shattered.

Donations like this are important, but the polio eradication project is at a crossroads. Whether eradication is actually possible under the current conditions remains to be seen. There’s so much effort there, but there HAS to be more support.

💉Flu season is here!

Get your flu vaccine, especially if you have underlying medical conditions. This goes for kids too. Last year, 280 kids died from influenza: 56% of them had an underlying condition and 89% were unvaccinated.

It’s been about 2 and a half weeks that I’ve been furloughed from my job at CDC. That’s a lot of time to think about what i want for myself, and my future. And you know what? I’m not going anywhere. I’m very proud of what I do and where I work, and I will stay to make sure that there is integrity.

One of the saddest things is when children have cancer, immune deficiency or need bone marrow or organ transplants.

And to add insult to injury, they’re unable to receive vaccines.

But YOU can do your part to help protect them by immunizing yourself & your family.

We are ALL in this together.
