I think about this every time I see one of these inane articles.

PSA: Please be cautious when subscribing to moderation lists—make sure you trust the list owner!

Not naming names, but during a routine check of clearsky, I found myself on a couple of fraudulent lists falsely advertising their purpose. I'm sure there are plenty of troll accounts doing this.

Programmers and lawyers jobs are pretty similar:
- write documents to be interpreted exactly as intended
- may write those documents for a client, possibly adapting and interpreting existing documents
- documents are interpreted extremely literally
- documents may/will contain bugs/loopholes

Trans rights activists -- including Chelsea Manning -- are staging a protest in a women's bathroom in the Cannon building (a House building) next to Speaker Johnson's office.

"Trans rights are under attack! What do we do? Act up! Fight back!"
