I like, maybe five people. On a good day.
Updated: There are no good days now.
The kid sent me this to cheer me up. It worked. Man, I love that kid.

For once there is a kernel of truth. It was a shutdown hoax given that the Dems got nothing out of it.
(Also, I canNOT even imagine the rage I'd be experiencing reading this if I was an air traffic controller.)

That bag has been going round and round while waiting to start, and it's giving me PTSD flashbacks to the luggage carousel in DFW last week....

Again, only of interest to @bethinsac.bsky.social probably. Have heard good things, am excited for this one.

I love my kid so much; he was the first one to tell me (and also Zohran).

This immediately reminded me of @eccentricflower.com who I recall once commenting/being happy about hotel bathtubs that were long enough for someone over 6 feet.

They were just starting on and around the Malecon today but Old Vallarta already had a good amount set up.

Remember how I side I bet the Republicans will turn around & now use FDR as an example of why the 22nd amendment should be revoked, when he was the very reason they pushed for the amendment in the first place cos they were afraid they'd never be in power again? Here you go. From WH leaked does.

Its called the travel hoodie, but in our house it's known as the zoning out/ do not approach the wearer hoodie, especially if the hood is also tightened & hands are in the kangaroo pocket.
P.S. I usually don't go for social media sells but this hoodie is pretty awesome and weighted if you like that.

Who knew the "crybaby snowflakes" were so powerful as to shut down everything without having control of a single branch? Wow, radical indeed.
(Yep, I've seen the White House site too)

The first synphony of Beethoven's I listened to from start to end was his No. 1, at age 11. It had the same effect of me that his third did on Mick from The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter (look it up; one of the best descriptions of the impact of music ever.)
I totally would have lost my head.

That is my father with the sunglasses helping eradicate smallpox in the early 60s- he and my mom lived among the Baluch tribe for over a year doing that and other preventative medical work.
They would both be horrified at what Florida did today.

This pretty much sums up my review of Death Becomes Her. W/ one additional note: I kept thinking Megan Hilty was playing the role as if it was Kristen Chenoweth as Glinda p?laying the role. I've never seen her in anything before, & I get the role asks for over the top but the echoes were too strong.

At the Lunt-Fontane waiting to see this. And yes, I took pics of the chandeliers like I always do no matter where I go.

Also, why do I feel they're already planning on doing Evita at the St. James #evita #balconyscene

Operation Mincemeat was every bit as delightful and wonderful as @bethinsac.bsky.social has said it is. Had an amazing seat (A124 Rear Mezz) & was next to a lovely married couple who were in from MN on their annual NYC trip. They saw it last night &immediately turned around & bought tix again.

Also love the cast, though I admit I am here first and foremost for Esco Jouley.

Back at it again after some time away and a whirlwind trip to Berlin, Germany to settle the boy there for a month-long festival. This was my bday gift from me to me.

My brain is trying to hold on while being split between utter fear and worry, keeping up appearances at work because no one cares about my brain having a meltdown and bills are bills, being part of a global network helping each other to stay in touch with folk back home & doing stuff like this.

People like to dump on Philly, and people here aren't perfect by a mile, but man, when it matters, this city looks out for its own like no one else.

Actually seeing one near home! Kid's first time, we won't count how many for me.
