Cholera cases are doubling weekly in Uvira, #DRCongo, as violence and displacement worsen the outbreak.
 
Funding has been allocated to support @who.int, @unicef.org and partners to provide treatment and  sanitation services, but more resources are urgently needed to stop the spread.

The ceasefire in #Gaza has enabled children to go back to class.

Over 150,000 students have so far enrolled in school — a first return to in-person learning since Oct. 2023.

More aid and a lasting ceasefire are needed for education facilities to fully resume functions.

Twice every year, the UN’s Emergency Fund allocates US $100 million to chronically underfunded crises, with an additional US $10 million dedicated to climate-smart humanitarian action.
