I notice that some people who criticize "Big Pharma", have an underlying judgment of people who take medication, especially for mental health. It's not about condemning corporate greed; it's about the ignorant skepticism around medication itself and those who take/need it.

The “Recession Pop Theory” makes me want to skin myself alive. Electro-pop music didn’t come out of nowhere, it was already brewing since the late 90s. All that happened was it being pushed to mainstream appeal. Electroclash existed, new wave revival existed, 80s fashion revival already had began

Something happened in 2018/2019 and everything got washed in beige and sandy tones. Sometimes you see pale olive tones or spicy orange-brown tones, but that specific off-white color has been so especially prevalent in clothes, furniture, and marketing color pallets...

One thing that I’ve found to be really insidious since becoming an adult is realizing how much of 90s and 2000s world and US history is left out of US schools. All they teach us is 9/11—but not even the war. I only learned about Guantanamo Bay because of the recent expansion for immigrants

I mean, really just this. I've been saying this about modern US veterans since forever. I don't get why anyone would join after the events of the Vietnam War... you really just have to be so desperate, depressed, and/or not gaf about the consequences your actions have on others
One type of person I've constantly argued with since I've started YouTube is 'Leftist' US veterans who act like they are the victims who had no choice but to join the military and the US military isn't that bad as long as you don't idk go to Afghan or Iraq? Anyway thinking of them now

Alright so I just finished reading Dennis Cooper’s "The Sluts" and… just wtf. I got back into reading after falling out of it for many years—what a reintroduction, for real. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed fiction as grotesque as this. Easy 4/5, like I’m fully gagged
