Ilberd is one of the few antagonists in the game who not only achieves his goal but ends up being proven right by the narrative. His methods were awful and resulted in a lot of people dying, but if he hadn't done what he did, the other city-states wouldn't have intervened to free Ala Mhigo.

Why are closed adoption & misogyny lowk intertwined...like...i legally cannot contact my bio mom cuz it would destroy her life & potentially get her shamed, divorced, or even honor-killed

chago oversleeps like crazy. he blames it on being part keeper so nobody can confront him on it without looking bad 💀 he definitely needs to be woken up while traveling

Never forget that Norman Rockwell, debatably the most famous American artist to ever put brush to canvas, was not afraid to show the ugliness along with the good. Having his work/reputation sanitized and trimmed into marketable nostalgia is about American as it gets.
