Our democracy is being dismantled by design, and the architects are platforms like Meta and X. Their algorithms prioritize outrage and division, spreading misinformation like wildfire and deepening societal polarization for profit.

The victims were NOT "young women". They were CHILDREN.
As such, they were not capable of giving legal consent. Sex without consent is rape.

It is very notable that several Dems are putting out strong statements that effectively backhand members of their caucus
I’ve voted 7 times to reopen the government in a way that holds Trump accountable for his lawlessness and prevents a health care crisis.
I’m prepared to work toward a compromise, but this “deal” before us does not come close to meeting those terms. Voting NO.

Anyone that caves needs to be primaried.
We'll see, but the degree of immediate blowback, and how many other Dems immediately jumped onboard trashing it loudly, makes me think this might end up a failed attempt to cave. Overestimated their ability to hold enough Dem votes.
