Finished the main idea of this deeply personal FF7-inspired story I’ve been putting together out of nowhere. The ending is even sadder than I thought it would be. Originally wanted a happy ending but decided to embrace the hurt and go with what feels right. I have no idea what to do with this now.

Played day one of launch, but I’m not big on mobile games so I let it go.
Would I be completely wasting my time trying to pick it up now?
Looks like I’ve missed so much good stuff and don’t know if I’d have access to most or any of it.

12,000 words so far, mostly dialogue and I’m nowhere near finished. Story is starting to take shape, though. I may complete the FF7 angle and then rework the whole thing into a personal story inspired by a select few FF7 characters so as to avoid retelling entire sections of game plot. 😵‍💫

People don’t want to know about your weakness. People don’t want to know you are sad. People don’t care that they hurt. People just want friends that act how they want, even if that breaks them inside.

Writing an FF7 fan fiction saturated in self-insertion. I don’t know how this happened or how it started, but I’m currently over 10,000 words and it’s fine if it’s never seen by anyone else so long as I get to the end of the story.

What the hell am I doing???

Finished #CrisisCore Reunion last night for the 2nd & final time.
#ZackFair and his story deserved a better game.
If anything, I’m relieved to likely never hear “Activating Combat Mode” again.

#AliceInBorderland is still the superior show, and did it with even far less hype than this graph displays.

I set my TV screensaver to show various scenic pics I took along with a folder of stuff pulled from online. These showed up side by side and I found it amusing.

Thinking a lot lately about Sucker Punch and Alice In Borderland - the concept of alternate reality, imposed or self-made, as a coping mechanism for stress & trauma is rather intriguing.

Every song compelling, no filler, moody, atmospheric. Flawless performances by masters of their crafts.
