Booted up Revelations: Persona and got smacked in the face with this thought again. Anyone who played the official 1996 NA release of this just fundamentally did not play the same game as Japan, but I also wonder if that even matters if what came through resonated with those who played it
Sometimes I think about how we got absolutely awful translations of games back when I was growing up and yet they still managed to resonate with people and become their favorite stories.
