I haven't seen the whole map yet, but the areas I've been to so far are changed to different degrees:
- Citadel in shambles,
- First town destroyed,
- Deep Docks almost no changes, but frequent screams from Mother Silk make the place tremble.
All have abyss tendrils.

I have heard, over the years, two things about New Vegas:
1) It's the best Fallout game ever (with my stepson's seal of approval).
2) It's finicky to run on today's PCs. Unsure about that, but I've heard it.
Rumors aside, if Bethesda remasters it like they did Oblivion? I'm in.
