The biggest victory of the 2016 election for republicans was control of the courts. The ability to contort the country’s legal system to assist in the miscarriage of justice. This will have consequences that resonate for generations. History will wonder why we let one man do so much unchecked harm.

Really sobering to realize just how checked out Gen Z is when it comes to politics. Compare the number of protests during the 60’s - 70’s to now. So much apathy and complacency en masse; likely a symptom of a chronically online culture.

Truly a shame that The Outrun, one of the best films of the year featuring a career best performance from Saoirse Ronan is getting vastly overlooked during awards season.
