Watching in horror as the so-called first world descends
into third world political equivalence. Rooting hard for the Democrats in USA. Keen wilderness mountain biker. Johannesburg, South Africa.
Good morning to USA from South Africa. I wish you a magnificent No Kings day from far away. Stay safe. So many of us abroad are rooting for you.

In my home in South Africa, the birthplace of Elon Musk, where we whites comprise 6% of the population, we have strict hate speech laws. Elon Musk should know better. Instead, he has chosen to remain a moral and ethical midget. He is simply contemptible.

Time to cool down in the Shashe River between Zimbabwe and Botswana. 40 degrees celsius. A warm day for a bike ride.

Look who dropped in for sundowners. He thought that a quick tree toppling demonstration would lighten things up. Mabula Game Reserve South Africa.

More haste less speed. A harmless golden orb spider at home in Zimbabwe. Still a bit unsettling to have one drape itself and its web over your face when out on a ride.

Charting a mountain bike route over the Limpopo River between Zimbabwe and South Africa. Mind the crocs.

Day 7 of our trek to the summit of Mt Stanley, Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda. Glaciers on the equator at 5100m above sea level.

A 2000 (or more) year old baobab tree will remind you of the important stuff. That's me in a gap, Kruger Park, South Africa.
